Jaap Kroese - Chairman Swan Hunter:
As the second LSDA to be built here at Swan Hunter in the last couple of years we are very proud to have produced a ship that, together with her sister vessels, will bring significant capability upgrade to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary knowing we have delivered a quality product to the DPA which will last for years to come. We’ve very much enjoyed working with the Ministry of Defence and especially with the members of Integrated Project Team in a very co-operative and professional manner. We are grateful to the skilled and loyal workforce here on the yard that have contributed to this success and hope this will result in further similar work being awarded to the yard in the coming years.
